Mexico Watch is an intelligence and forecasting service on economics, business and politics in Mexico. The service was suspended in late 2009 due to negative prevailing economic conditions. In addition, the company has fallen victim to a frivolous lawsuit by Intel Corporation that is being fought in US federal courts. For more information on that case, click here. However, the publisher, Americas News Intel Publishing LLC, continues to exist. This Web site will house the permanent newsletter archives. Our actionable intel service, when in publication, delivered a streamlined flow of carefully analyzed information designed to support the business and professional goals of our subscribers. Our incisive newsletters included the Mexico Watch Monthly Report, Mexico Watch Weekly Briefing, Mexico Watch European Briefing and Mexico Watch Political Briefing. We are an independent publisher with a proven track record of providing accurate, dependable and insightful reports and forecasts.

Our editorial staff is led by company president Jeffrey Wright, a long-time veteran of Mexican journalism with a Masters Degree from the Center for Iberian and Latin American Studies at the University of California at San Diego. His experience includes Mexican and foreign newspaper and magazine correspondence, editor of publications for the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, and corporate reporter for Bridge financial newswire, and he serves as a Mexico consultant on the Council of Advisors. He joined Mexico Watch under its previous publisher, Orbis, as a correspondent in 1998, and held the position of Country Manager for Mexico beginning in 2000. Jeffrey Wright continues to head up Americas News Intel Publishing LLC, the present owner of Mexico Watch intel-based newsletters and the associated brand.
